Pius Langa Memorial Fellowship - call for applications 2023 - 2024
The Constitutional Court Trust (CCT) is delighted to announce its second call for applications for the Pius Langa Memorial Fellowship, which affords one early career lawyer per year who has either clerked at the Constitutional Court or worked in a public interest law NGO in South Africa the opportunity to study towards a LLM at University College London (UCL) in the United Kingdom, one of the top ranked universities in the world.

The Franklin Thomas Fellowship for law clerks was established in honour of Franklin Thomas, a former President of the Ford Foundation.
The purpose of the Franklin Thomas fellowship is to provide an opportunity for a South African from a historically disadvantaged background who has clerked of the Constitutional Court of South Africa to study at an American university towards a one-year graduate programme leading to a Masters of Law (LLM) degree.
